Suha Baqar is an artist currently based in the Bay Area. She completed her BFA from New York University in May 2026. Baqar works across painting, video, and printmaking to build worlds that feel familiar. Drawing from personal memory, family archives, and travels between the East and West, she constructs endless and natural landscapes that are unbound by the limits of any real place. Influenced by the aesthetics of video games, her worlds are seductive and immersive, designed to pull you in. She invents spaces that invite escape while allowing one to reflect on the reality of that desire - a world with no consequences or limits that culture has long promised us as fantasy.
